Opensea Confirms Outage After Platforms Report Issues With Displaying Nfts

On Thursday, several people took to social media to report issues with their NFTs displaying. MotherBoard was the first to report the outage. An OpenSea spokesperson said the outage occurred at 6:05am PT, and by 8:30am PT, the outage was resolved. But their own status update page shows the outage lasted far longer, with programmatic access to the API being fully restored by about 3:30pm PT. OpenSea said the time discrepancy was because they kept their programmatic API disabled while monitoring their fix to ensure site reliability....

Opinion My End Of Year Report Card For Apple S 2017 Performance

This time last year, I gave my end-of-year report card for Apple’s 2016 performance – and it’s time now for the 2017 version. Last year, there were some controversial decisions, with two key products getting more attention for what they omitted rather than what they offered: the loss of the headphone socket in the iPhone 7, and most ports in the MacBook Pro. Both now feel like very old news. As I wrote at the time, while there may be much discussion at the time, people do quickly get used to changing standards....

Owc Reveals New Dec Attachment For 2016 Macbook Pro Brings 4Tb Of Storage Additional Ports

Popular aftermarket part and component supplier OWC has taken the wraps off of a new accessory that brings both more storage and additional connectivity to the new 2016 MacBook Pro. Called the OWC DEC, the attachment brings 4TB of storage, an SD card slot, USB Type-A, and a Gigabit Ethernet port to the new MacBook Pros… What’s unique about the DEC, for good or bad, is its design. The accessory is attached to the bottom of the MacBook Pro, thus making it thicker and heavier, but keeping the overall footprint the same....

Opinion Going Watchless To See How The Apple Watch Really Impacts Me

I’ve had my Apple Watch since the day it launched on April 24th and have been wearing it everyday since. This was probably the longest I’ve had a wearable without having any hardware issues. Then my speaker blew out first thing randomly one morning… Yes, I did all the trouble shooting steps one should do before officially being upset and frustrated: checking the volume under settings, turning the iPhone and Apple Watch off and on, and even erasing the Apple Watch setting it back to factory settings and setting it up as a new Apple Watch, even though I had a backup....

Opinion These Were The 10 Game Changing Wwdc 2015 Announcements

There were so many announcements during the WWDC keynote yesterday that even people who follow Apple for a living (and expected most of the details) were overwhelmed. New versions of iOS, OS X, and watchOS were only three of the biggies, alongside the official debut of Apple Music and a lot of small but interesting new details. Since the keynote ended, I’ve been sorting through all of the stories, as well as all three new operating systems....

Pandemic Was 2016 S Other Pov Action Movie After Hardcore Henry

It appears 2016 was the year for first-person action movies, with both zombie thriller Pandemic and Hardcore Henry bringing a whole new perspective to the genre. Video game movie adaptations are notoriously tricky to pull off and often result in movies that either stray too far from the source material (Super Mario Bros) or stay faithful but are just generally dull (Assassin’s Creed). Doom from 2005 is notable for being an early star vehicle for Dwayne Johnson - though he later confessed it was a stinker....

Parks And Recreation 10 Most Hilarious Andy Dwyer Quotes

Parks and Recreation is largely the story of one woman’s grit and determination to make the world a better place, but the supporting cast of Leslie’s team is definitely what makes it one of the most entertaining shows ever written. Amy Poehler, Nick Offerman, and the rest of the gang have brought many a laugh and a tear to our eyes, but it’s Chris Pratt as Andy Dwyer, the lovable goofball who sucks at adulting, who may have made us laugh the hardest....

Opinion Square Enix S Flip Flop On Ios 8 Support Spotlights App Store Ambiguities Risks

Buying an app from the App Store is designed to be as easy as possible. A large button with a price tag sits as close to the app’s icon and name as possible, while additional details linger below. You’re not supposed to think or worry too much about each purchase — the transaction is impulse-driven when the price is low — and the implication is that the app will work when you get it, and keep working for a long time thereafter....

Party Of Five Reboot Gets Series Order Is Immigration Themed

The Party of Five reboot has gotten its series order and will be immigration-themed. The new series has been in the works since early last year when Freeform, the network formerly known as ABC Family, announced that they would be picking it up. Since that time, news on the reboot of the one-time highly popular 1990’s Fox drama series has been rather quiet. Based around the lives of the four Salinger children - and their infant brother - after their parents are killed in a car accident - Charlie (Matthew Fox), Bailey (Scott Wolf), Julia (Neve Campbell) and Claudia (Lacey Chabert), Party of Five ran on Fox from 1994-2000, during the heyday of similar TV shows like Beverly Hills 90210 and Melrose Place....

Opinion Ipad Pro Can T Replace My Retina Macbook But It S The Best Entertainment Ipad Yet

When I reviewed the 12-inch MacBook with Retina display earlier this year, my one question was this: could I possibly use such a low power machine reliably for work? For blog posting and editing, switching between chat apps and email, and keeping up with a few Twitter accounts, the single-port MacBook is totally fine, and the Retina display was an upgrade over the dated one on my old MacBook Air....
